Mayur Puri is a lyricist, screenplay and dialogue writer in the Hindi film industry.

With hits such as “Garam Masala” (2005), “Singh is Kinng” (2008), “Blue” (2009) and “F.A.L.T.U” (2011) under his belt, he is known for new age songs which combine Hindi, Punjabi and English seamlessly. 

Some of his famous lines include “Bheegi Bheegi” (“Gangster”, 2006), “Aaj Dil Gustakh Hai” (“Blue”, 2009) and “Dil Garden Garden Ho Gaya” (“Kyaa Super Kool Hai Hum”, 2012). He has has enjoyed a long streak of success writing lyrics set to tune by Pritam. He has also worked with the likes of A.R. Rahman, Anand Raj Anand and the new kids on the block Sachin - Jigar.

He is said to have directed some parts of the film "Tell Me O Khhuda" (2011) but was not credited due to creative differences with the film's producer, Hema Malini, who took the film over.
