Trivia
- This was director David Dhawan's remake of his own film "Judwaa" (1997). It featured his son Varun Dhawan in the lead role. "Judwaa" (1997) itself was a remake of the hit Telugu film "Hello Brother" (1994) starring Nagarjuna. "Hello Brother" in turn was adapted from the Hong Kong action comedy "Twin Dragons" (1992) starring Jackie Chan. Two of this film's songs were recreated versions of songs from "Judwaa" (1997) - "Oonchi Hai Building" and "Tan Tanaa Tan Tan Tan Taaraa Chalti Hai Kya Nau Se Baarah". Salman Khan, who played the lead role in the original film, appeared in a cameo role in this film. David Dhawan remade another of his films "Coolie No. 1" (1995) in 2020 with Varun in the lead role.[1][2]
