Trivia

    Song

  • Bas Yehi Apradh Main Har Baar Karta Hoon - This song, written by Neeraj, was meant to be a song of brotherhood. Instead, in later years, it came to be associated with homosexuality. Gay men used the song to assert their sexual orientation and homophobes used it as a slur. In the Hindi film, "Mast Kalandar" (1991), Anupam Kher's gay character is shown humming this song.[1][2]
  • Paise Ki Pehchan Yahaan - I - The character singing this song is the lyricist of this song, Neeraj, himself. Manoj Kumar apparently picked Neeraj to play this role on-the-spot when he couldn't find anyone else suited for it.[3]
