Trivia

    Album

  • This was Pooja Bhatt's first film as a producer. She also played the female lead in the film.
  • Tanuja Chandra, the daughter of writer Kamna Chandra, debuted as a writer in this film.
  • This film was based on the true life-story of a eunuch called Tikku who adopted and brought up an abandoned child, Tamanna. At an event more than twenty years later, Mahesh Bhatt met the real-life Tamanna in what was a very emotional moment. While he remains anonymous, a "Tikku" listed in the film's end credits may have been the real-life Tikku making an appearance in the film.[1]
  • Pooja Bhatt' step-sisters, Alia and Shaheen, were not credited in the film but made a brief appearance in it. Alia played the younger version of Pooja Bhatt's character in the film and Shaheen played the daughter of Ashutosh Rana's character.[2]

    Song

  • Shab Ke Jaage Huye (Male) - Both versions of this song were credited to lyricist Nida Fazli in the film's audio release. However, the lyrics for these songs were taken - with minor changes - from a nazm titled "Intezar" by Makhdoom Mohiuddin.
