Trivia

    Album

  • This was Prakash Mehra's last film as a director. Interestingly, while this film had Karisma Kapoor as the female lead, Mehra's debut film "Hasina Maan Jaayegi" (1968) had her mother Babita as the female lead.[1]
  • This was the debut film of actor Raaj Kumar's son, Puru Rajkumar. Raaj Kumar died just a few weeks before the film's release and could not see his son's debut.

    Song

  • Nazren Ladgaiyaan - 1 - This song was plagiarised from a qawwali by Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan, "Main Yaar Yaar Kehna". Another Hindi film song, "Ye Pyar Pyar Kya Hai" ("Daraar", 1996), was also plagiarised from the same qawwali. The qawwali was also adapted officially for the song "Main Baar Baar Tanha Hua" ("Zero", 2018).[2][3][4]
  • Naa Naa Chhoona Naa Chhoona Naa - The tune of the hook line of this song was plagiarised from the chartbuster "Scatman (Ski-Ba-Bop-Ba-Dop-Bop)" released in 1994 by the American artist Scatman John. Nadeem - Shravan used the same tune again in the song "Ooee Baba" ("Judaai", 1997).[5][6]
