Trivia

    Album

  • When Madhubala fell seriously ill during the making of "Naughty Boy" (1962), her husband, the film's lead actor Kishore Kumar, had to take time out and the film got stalled for some time. This put producer, director Shakti Samanta in a spot as he had accumulated a lot of debt and didn't have the financial means to settle it. Shammi Kapoor, who had worked with Shakti Samanta for "Singapore" (1960), stepped in and offered to work for him with payments deferred till the director had settled his debt. Shakti Samanta then made this 1962 film with Shammi Kapoor. The film's commercial success helped Shakti Samanta clear his debt and led to a long relationship with Shammi Kapoor which resulted in hit films like "Kashmir Ki Kali" (1964) and "An Evening In Paris" (1967).[MR15]

    Song

  • Rangin Baharon Se Hain Gulzar China Town - It appears that there were two versions of this song - the version in the audio release went "Lakhon Haseenon Se Hai Gulzar" and the version in the film went "Rangeen Baharon Se Hai Gulzar".
  • Kya Teri Mehfil Hai Sanam (Ya Dilruba) - The previous song in the album and this song are a two part track.
