Trivia

    Album

  • This was the last time Fardeen Khan and his father Feroz Khan acted together in a film. They had worked together earlier in only one other film, "Janasheen" (2003).[1]
  • This film appears to have been inspired by popular caper films like "Confidence" (2003) and "Matchstick Men" (2003).
  • This was actress Koena Mitra's first film in a leading role.
  • This was the directorial debut of writer Suparn Verma.

    Song

  • Jal Jal Ke Dhuan - This song was based on "Arabiyon Ana" by the Lebanese artist Yuri Mrakadi. Pritam adapted this tune again the next year for "Hai Ishq Yeh Kya Ik Khata" ("Bas Ek Pal", 2006).[2][3]
  • Jhoom - This song seems inspired by Britney Spears' "Joy of Pepsi" (2001) ad. The tune of a small portion of the song was based on Santana's guitar riff in "Love Of My Life", featuring Dave Mathews from Santana's chartbuster album "Supernatural" (1999).[4][5][6]
