Trivia

    Album

  • This was Subhash Ghai's first film with music director Laxmikant - Pyarelal. With the exception of "Vidhaata" (1982), for which the music was composed by Kalyanji - Anandji, every film directed by Subhash Ghai between 1979 and 1993 had music by Laxmikant - Pyarelal. His last film with the composer duo was "Khalnayak" (1993).[1][2]
  • This was the last of the three films in which Subhash Ghai and Shatrughan Sinha worked together. The other films were "Kalicharan" (1976) and "Vishwanath" (1977). Their egos and their competing affection for Reena Roy drove a wedge between them, and they stopped working together eventually. Over the years, their relationship continued to be a stormy one even though Ghai always considered Shatrughan Sinha's wife Poonam as his "raakhi" sister.[3][4][MR35]
  • The story of this film was credited to Mukta Ghai, Subhash Ghai's wife.
