Album

• This was the debut Hindi film of singers Sapna Mukherjee and Mahesh Gadhvi.
• This was one of the two films Anil Kapoor signed on the night of the premiere of his film "Mashaal" (1984). The other film he signed was "Meri Jung" (1985).[1][2]
• The plot of this film was inspired by the Hollywood Western film "Duel in the Sun" (1946). The film "Saiyan" (1951) was also inspired by the same film.[3]
• Sridevi had not wanted to sign-up for her guest appearance in this film. She changed her mind after Feroz Khan won her over by speaking to her in Tamil.[4]
• Feroz Khan had wanted to cast Vinod Khanna in this film. However, Khanna had taken a sabbatical from films at the time and Feroz Khan cast Anil Kapoor instead.[5]

Song

• Pyar Do Pyar Lo - Music director Pritam and lyricist Amitabh Bhattacharya adapted this song for the film "Thank You" (2011). The song was also recreated by Tanishk Bagchi for the film "Marjaavaan" (2019).[6][7]
• Jab Jab Teri Surat Dekhoon (Jaane Jaana) - This song featured Mahesh Gadhvi's vocals but he was not credited for it in the film's audio release.
• Jab Jab Teri Surat Dekhoon (Jaane Jaana) - Kalyanji - Anandji may have adapted their own song "Barson Purana Ye Yarana" ("Hera Pheri", 1976) for the tune of this song.[8]
• Har Kisiko Nahin Milta Yahan Pyar Zindagi Mein - It was Sridevi's performance in this song, clad in a chiffon saree, that inspired her look in the song "Kaate Nahin Katate Yeh Din Yeh Raat" ("Mr. India", 1987).[9][10][MR12]
• Har Kisiko Nahin Milta Yahan Pyar Zindagi Mein - Chirantan Bhatt recorded two cover versions of this song for the film "Boss" (2013) - a solo sung by Nikhil D'Souza, and a duet sung by Arijit Singh and Neeti Mohan. The cover version took its hook lyrics from the mukhda of this song but Manoj Yadav wrote original lyrics for the rest of the song.[11]
