  • Neetu Singh debuted as a child artist in this film. However, she was not credited in it. Her first credited role was in "Dus Lakh" (1966). She was credited as Baby Sonia in it. Her first film in a lead role was "Rickshawala" (1973).[1][2]

  • Titli Udi Ud Jo Chali - The Filmfare Awards used to confer only one song with the Best Playback Singer award till 1966. This song was tied with Mohd Rafi's Baharo Phool Baraso (Suraj) and was given a Special Award. The next year onwards, Filmfare introduced separate categories for male and female playback singers.[MR8]
