Trivia

    Album

  • Anil Kapoor opted out of this film when his daughter Sonam Kapoor replaced Katrina Kaif in it. He was uncomfortable playing a Casanova in a film that featured his daughter. Irrfan Khan was then brought in to replace him. When Irrfan died, Anil Kapoor remembered him and thanked him for looking out for Sonam during the making of this film.[1][2]
  • Pooja Bhatt took the makers of this film to court claiming that she had the copyright over the film's title. She said that she had registered the title with the Association of Motion Picture and TV Programme Producers (AMPTPP) in 2005. When she found out that the title she had registered was being used for this film, she had filed a complaint with AMPTPP. She approached the court when the producers' body failed to act. The Bombay High Court refused to stay the film's release stating that there was no copyright available on a title. Pooja Bhatt crossed swords with Akshay Kumar again over "Holiday" (2014). She had registered the title "Holiday" and refused to part with it when producer Vipul Shah had asked for it. Shah eventually circumvented her by registering the title with a tagline. A miffed Pooja Bhatta posted on Twitter, "First THANK YOU then HOLIDAY! Akshay Kumar's producers have an affinity for the titles of my films.Gentle Reminder- 'Karma can be a bitch'!".[3][4][5][6]

    Song

  • Pyaar Do Pyaar Lo - This song was an adaptation of a song from the film "Janbaaz" (1986). The original song was composed by Kalyanji - Anandji, written by Indeevar, and sung by Sapna Mukherjee. The same song was also recreated by Tanishk Bagchi for the film "Marjaavaan" (2019).[7][8]
