This was the second of the three anthology films in which filmmakers Zoya Akhtar, Dibakar Banerjee, Anurag Kashyap, and Karan Johar worked together. Each film featured four sections - one by each director. The other two films in this anthology series were "Bombay Talkies" (2013) and "Ghost Stories" (2020). This film and "Ghost Stories" (2020) were released on Netflix.[1][2]
Singer-songwriter Prateek Kuhad debuted as a music director and lyricist in this film. However, the film did not have a music release. "Karwaan" (2018) was Kuhad's first music release as music director and lyricist.[3]

Tune Kaha - The opening credits of the film credited the music of this song to Prateek Kuhad and Sneha Khanwalkar. However, the closing credits credited only Prateek Kuhad for it.
