Trivia

    Album

  • This was the fourth film of director Rohit Shetty's "Golmaal" series. The other films in the series were "Golmaal - Fun Unlimited" (2006), "Golmaal Returns" (2008), and "Golmaal 3" (2010).[1][2][3]

    Song

  • Maine Tujhko Dekha (Neend Churayi Meri) - Amaal Malik used the mukhda of a song composed by his uncle, Anu Malik, "Neend Churayee Meri" ("Ishq", 1997), for the hook line of this song. Anu Malik was unhappy that Amaal had not taken his permission for using his song. Amaal's response to this was that they didn't need Anu Malik's permission since they had purchased the rights from the copyright holders of the original song, "Sending All My Love" by Linear, on which his song was based. He also stated that he had tried calling Anu Malik several times but his uncle had not returned his call. The film's end credits and the official YouTube video of the song credited "Neend Churayee Meri" ("Ishq", 1997) and indicated that it had been licensed from Sony Music India.[4][5][6]
  • Itna Sannata Kyun Hai - This was the first time DJ Chetas and Lijo George collaborated on a Hindi film song.
  • Aate Jaate Hanste Gaate - This was a recreated version of a hit song from the film "Maine Pyar Kiya" (1989), composed by Raamlaxman, written by Dev Kohli, and sung by Lata Mangeshkar and S.P. Balasubramaniam. The original song itself was an adaptation of Stevie Wonder's hit single "I Just Called To Say I Love You" (1984). This tune was also used in the song "Mohabbat Ki Pehli Ik Nazar Mein" ("Jaan Ki Kasam", 1991).[7][8][9]
  • Aate Jaate Hanste Gaate - While the film's music album was published by T-Series, Saregama released this song separately as a single.
